The Driver Handbook and Convey Technology announce partnership to boost driver communications

2 February 2022

The Driver Handbook is delighted to announce a new partnership with Convey Technology to deliver The Driver Handbook’s revolutionary driver communication solution via Convey Technology’s integrated software platform. This exciting new partnership sees The Driver Handbook made available in Convey Technology’s comprehensive offering of fleet and driver compliance and operational tools.

The Driver Handbook comprises a mobile app for drivers, enabled by TDHConnect® a powerful content management system which puts fleet managers in full control of sharing up-to-the-minute essential information and accessing live reporting on driver progress and comprehension. Core to the solution are industry-leading handbooks, toolbox talks, template declarations, a library of policies and much more. All content can be customised and supplemented with operators’ specific information and delivered direct to a driver’s device.

Convey Technology’s software platform offers an innovative range of fleet compliance and management modules including driver licence checking, tachograph analysis vehicle maintenance and walkaround checks. The Driver Handbook is the latest module to be included to Convey’s integrated solutions all of which help drive business efficiency and allow managers and drivers to collect, monitor and share vital business data.

Glen Davies, Managing Director, The Driver Handbook explained more about the opportunity, “It was easy to see how our app and CMS could neatly fit alongside Convey’s existing range of solutions and naturally fill a gap in driver communications, so we were quick to grab the opportunity to partner with Convey. Our ‘working together’ business ethos aligns well with Convey’s approach and we’re looking forward to a long and successful relationship together”.

“For some time Convey had been exploring options for a digital version of our own driver handbook; whilst at the same time our customers had told us they wanted an effective communication tool that would sit within our platform.” said Karen Crispe, Director, Convey. “Hence, we chose to establish a partnership with The Driver Handbook as their solution not only gives us both of these requirements in one, but offers so much more in terms of scope and functionality and we’re excited to be working with them. The Handbook module will enhance our existing range of driver and vehicle compliance solutions, giving our customers full visibility for all their compliance from one system.”

The Driver Handbook is available to existing Convey customers as a standalone app or with access to TDHConnect and is offered via annual licence for any size fleet. Training and support is available to all TDHConnect users at no cost, throughout the duration of a contract.
