What’s new for ’22 (and what happened in ’21)

Looking back, 2021 was significant year at The Driver Handbook HQ as we released Version 2 of both the app and TDHConnect. These brand new versions gave us full flexibility to ensure we’re able to constantly innovate and make enhancements, improvements and new developments.

In addition we also spent a lot of time on providing customers with new content. Here’s a snapshot of what we did in 2021:

Content updates:
– New rules on HGV/PCV older tyre ban
– Information on Clean Air Zones (CAZ) – Birmingham & Portsmouth
– Expansions of LEZ & ULEZ
– Introduction of HGV DVS & London Safety Permit
– Updates to the Highway Code (March & September)
– Changes to driver testing & licensing

Content created:
– Tipper and mixer handbook types
– Abnormal load section
– Site safety handbook
– 15 Toolbox Talks including key safety messages and government campaign material

New features rolled out:
– Improved app user logging in
– Content allocation functionality
– App motion sensor
– Enhanced notifications

What’s next? Already planned for the coming weeks are:
– Highway Code update
– A new series of Toolbox Talks
– Exciting new developments to make TDHConnect even better!

All our Standard handbook content has also been reviewed this week, so customers will see new reviewed dates throughout the app.
